For the eleventh consecutive year, the Gamma Pi Sigma chapter has rewarded students of the Bibb County School System high school seniors with scholarships. On August 4, Jered Crittle of Rutland High School and Mary-Alaysha Woodford of Northeast High School in Macon received the Jerome P. Guy Scholarships, which is name after the former Georgia State Director and educator. Crittle and Woodford will attend Mercer and Fort Valley State Universities respectively. Both students will major in Biology.

The Gamma Pi Sigma Chapter of Macon provided two scholarships to well-deserving students in the Macon-Bibb County School District.
The Gamma Pi Sigma held its annual scholarship reception in honor of former chapter member and former state director, Jerome P. Guy, on Sunday, August 4, 2019.
